Dr. Muhammad Sarki, MD
Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Muhammad Sarki is a Interventional Cardiologist with advanced expertise in peripheral vascular intervention and limb preservation, specializing in the treatment of complex peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia (CLI). To further develop these skills, Dr. Sarki completed an additional year of fellowship training focused on extensive peripheral endovascular interventions and venous treatments, gaining comprehensive experience in advanced techniques used to restore circulation and prevent limb loss. Through this advanced training and procedural expertise, Dr. Sarki has brought specialized peripheral vascular care to the region, establishing himself as a leading expert in the treatment of complex peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia.
Dr. Sarki is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and has advanced expertise in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Cardiac CT. He also performs structural heart interventions, providing minimally invasive treatment options for complex cardiac conditions.
In 2026, Dr. Sarki founded National Cardiac and Vascular Consultant, a practice created to expand access to specialized cardiovascular care and advanced treatments for heart and vascular disease. His vision is to combine innovative therapies, prevention strategies, and patient-centered care to improve cardiovascular outcomes and enhance quality of life for the communities he serves.
Dr. Sarki's approach to medicine is guided by what he calls the three "C's": Confidence, Compassion, and Competence. Early in his medical career, a mentor emphasized the importance of these qualities, and they have remained central to his philosophy of care. He believes that excellence in medicine requires continually pushing beyond one's comfort zone and striving to improve day after day in order to provide the highest level of care for patients.
Dr. Sarki was born and raised in Quetta, Pakistan, where he grew up with his brother and sister in a family that placed a strong emphasis on education and hard work. His parents encouraged their children to pursue knowledge and develop a strong work ethic-values that helped shape his professional journey.
Although he initially had an interest in business, Dr. Sarki discovered a deep passion for science, particularly biology, by the age of 13. During his youth, he witnessed many people in his country suffering from illnesses that should have been treatable. These experiences inspired his vision of becoming a physician.
Driven by a desire to be part of the solution, Dr. Sarki pursued a career in medicine with the goal of helping people receive the care they need and deserve. Today, he remains committed to restoring circulation, preserving limbs, improving cardiovascular health, and helping patients achieve the quality of life they deserve.
Expanding specialized vascular access, preventing avoidable limb loss, and delivering evidence-based cardiovascular care.
